Thanks! everyone ! for all the kind words ! I really enjoyed putting it together ! Struggled a bit picking that border
until I put that lime green crumb-catcher in! It doesn't show too well in the photo but was just the right zinger.
Since there no rush now..will get a couple of the other things standing in line done first...before I quilt this one.

A big Hi to all my Sotts sisters,
I am finally home again after being away for 2 months. Son is now married and currently on honeymoon - Barcelona, France, London then Singapore. Wedding was absolutely beautiful, the bride, the groom, the venue, the food and my outfit.
Update on DH - he was postponed so many times for his bypass surgery due to being low risk, then we postponed until after the wedding - now we drive down to Townsville (4 hours down the coast) tomorrow for his surgery on Wednesday.
All of our quilts have been safely given to all the recipients and we have received 4 or 5 thank yous.
I have been having a lovely time reading through all the posts in the different topics - it is so nice to catch up.
Christmas will be a very quiet one this year so we will probably have a seafood lunch and spend the afternoon in the pool, it is already so hot and muggy here, I hate the summer months (must be me getting on in years) you would think that after 40 years I would be aclimatised but it just seems to get worse every year.
            Cheers to all,
            Louise in Cairns

Louise, the 11 quilts that you posted are all amazing, and I am so impressed with your efforts for the earthquake victims!
Best of luck with the surgery on Wednesday. Please keep us posted.

                      Hi all,
Grahams bypass surgery went very well, he is recovering extremely quickly as I knew he would - one very determined man - Doc says he may be discharged on Tuesday and can be driven home on Wednesday. Thank you all for your kind thoughts and well wishes. When I am home again I will try and get to the wedding photos and post a couple. Hard to believe it is now 5 weeks and the couple are already nearly home, they are resting in Singapore after a very hectic travel schedule.
                      Cheers all,

Louise, great to hear all went well with the surgery. I'm glad he's motivated & hope that also means he can take it as slow as is necessary for a good recovery.
