        Love the trees!

I'm just finishing ironing, clipping ears and separating papers. My daughter and I combined our HST's from both exchanges and made a few more from our own fabrics. We are working together when we can in the evenings and on weekends. Life's necessities, work & chores, get in the way of our fun regularly! We're looking at Edyta's pattern "Constellation" as a possibility for our first quilt now. We changed our minds from an earlier pattern choice that we liked because of the variety of HST's and the difficulty unifying them. We'll have enough HST's left and plan to make a tree quilt too. Then we'll both have a quilt to remember SOTTS & Batiks R US!

Next week, we are going to make 196 neutral background squares for the Constellation quilt, but it should be a snap with our new Accuquilt Go Cutter! Then the sewing and construction begins! Hope you all are having as much fun as we are! I promise to post pictures as soon as I get a few blocks completed!

14 inch unfinished block made with the undentified (no label) HST's.
This will be a special wall hanging or go in a sampler.

Loving everyone's trees. I couldn't settle on one quilt so with my HSTs, I'm doing Edyta's Medallion quilt and with my leftover HSTs and my strips from the Strippers exchange
I'm making up an Edyta sampler quilt with the trees, houses, strippy flowers, spools and applique. I think I will be done this weekend with my raffle quilt and can finally
