THIS BEARS REPEATING AGAIN AND AGAIN EVERY COUPLE OF DAYS FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO HAVEN'T MAILED YOUR PACKAGES YET
PLEASE USE THIS CHECKLIST AND IT WILL MAKE RECEIVING AND SORTING THE HST's SO MUCH EASIER ON ALL OF US!!!
ON THURSDAY, MARCH 17, I HAVE RECEIVED 380 PACKAGES CONTAINING 151,314 AND 35 OF THOSE ARE INTERNATIONAL...THAT MEANS THERE ARE STILL ABOUT 235 PACKAGES OUTSTANDING.
AS OF THIS MORNING, I ONLY HAVE 33 EMAILS FROM MEMBERS WHO LET ME KNOW THEIR PACKAGES ARE ON THE WAY AND 12 OF THOSE ARE INTERNATIONAL.
HERE'S A HELPFUL CHECKLIST TO USE BEFORE PACKAGING AND MAILING YOUR HSTs (which DO need to be received by FRIDAY, APRIL 1st (only two weeks and 1 day away
, so hopefully EVERYONE, especially members from outside the U.S. are mailing their packages THIS WEEK!)
____ HST's folded & NOT pressed open and paper has NOT been removed.
____ HST's have NOT been put into individual baggies, but have been neatly stacked & placed in a larger Ziplock bag (or smaller if
not sending that many)...see photo below. Remember we have to remove HSTs from smaller bags before sort day, so you
do not need to separate them into colors or counts. Only the TOTAL count is what matters!
_____ If including HSTs for Queensland, Hanne or Christchurch, those have been put into individual bags & marked appropriately.
____ Screen Name, Real Name and HST count has been clearly marked on the Ziplock bag.
____ If International, contact Clara Lawrence (SN: ClaraLawrence) to get information on how to charge your return postage on PayPal.
Review the 2nd Post on the 1st Page of this Forum to determine how many & what size boxes are required depending on
how many HST's you will be having returned to you.
____ If International, include your address label or labels, depending on how many return boxes you paid for, along with
a copy of your PayPal receipt. Review the 2nd Post on the 1st Page of this Forum to determine how
many boxes are required depending on how many HST's you will be having returned to you. Do NOT include a
return envelope because it CANNOT be used. We aleady have all the International Flat Rate Boxes required to return them.
____ For Domestic packages: Return envelope has stamps, your OWN address as both 'sender' and 'recipient'. Remember not to use
P.O. Box addess as 'sender' since it will be closed after the Exchange. If your package is returned there for insufficient postage, it
may wind up in an unknown  , unhappy
home forever. Also, if you are the 'sender', then it will get returned to YOU for
additional postage.
____ Mailing envelope is sturdy and is clearly marked with your ScreenName & HST count and it has been taped, taped & triple
taped to make sure it won't open on it's way to Katy.
____ Once package is mailed, send Debbie (SN: NaneeWolf) an email to her PROFILE PAGE (not as a PRIVATE MESSAGE
or Forum post) to let her know package is on the way. That way she can let you know by return email when your package arrives.
HURRY, HURRY, HURRY TO GET YOUR PACKAGES IN THE MAIL, ESPECIALLY INTERNATIONAL...APRIL 1ST DEADLINE IS FAST APPROACHING!

I'd like to make a suggestion to those who signed up for this exchange and haven't sent your package. We all know "life happens"
, so if you aren't able to do your HSTs, please notify Debbie right away, if that's the case and then they won't be expecting your package. It would be a shame if they started or even finished the sorting process and more packages showed up
ops: !!! Oh, I just remembered
...I think Debbie said the P.O. box will be closed after a certain date - April 1st :?: maybe, so if your package comes in late, all your hard work will probably be sent back to you. Thanks.

Thanks, Judy. We realize that several members may decide, for whatever reason, that they are unable to participate. In light of that, on April 1 we will only be expecting those packages that members let me know have been sent. We will not be able to wait for packages we don't know have been mailed, so what I have in my email 'notification' folder will be what counts on deadline day...but waiting until March 31st to put them in the mail won't be good either!Originally posted by jcpittsquiltsI'd like to make a suggestion to those who signed up for this exchange and haven't sent your package. Hi Sisterhood,
Anke and I are close friends and I was worried about her missing package. Even though it's safely arrived, I didn't want to trust mine to the Dutch P.O. I will be travelling to the US on March 28 and will mail my blocks to you from New York on the 29th. They should get to you on or about April 1st. I hope this will be OK. I'm having so much fun making the blocks and can't wait to see what comes back. Thanks, Karen Lipton

I can't wait to see what comes back in the mail. Are there plans to post our finished quilts with our triangles? That would be fun to see. Thank you Clara for your help, I'm new to Forums and thought I had posted everything in the right place. Debbie, you are an awesome woman for taking all this on. Have a great weekend everyone. Terry

From New York to Texas you will need to send it Priority Mail to make it there by April 1st. I've done that route a few times. ClaraOriginally posted by kliptonHi Sisterhood,

There are a couple of options. We will probably show them off in this forum and the Quilt Show has an area already set up for the triangle exchange to post photos there. Lots of places to get inspiration and do a little bragging. ClaraOriginally posted by leequilterI can't wait to see what comes back in the mail. Here is a direct link to the Show & Tell page for the Triangles exchanges: see-quilts/show-and-tell-quilts/
(However...there are a few quilts already there that have been misplaced.)
You can easily navigate there by clicking on QUILT GALLERY on the purple bar.
Click on SHOW & TELL from the drop down menu.
Click on VIEW ENTRIES for the Friendship Triangles
That is also where you will go to share your quilt with us! Just click on SUBMIT ENTRY.
If you need help uploading pictures, review John's instructional video on the first drop-down menu. It covers the BOM Show & Tell which is a little more detailed, but uploading photos is not difficult!
I can't wait to see what these exchanges produce!!
