yup - insane
my parents live only about 10 miles from the us boarder - most of my friends have a po box in the states for when our dear canadian post is on strike - or for shipments that cost a fortune to cross the boarder - or - as you say - take an extra 2 weeks.
when i sent myself packages from pike river (canada) in march - they took over a week just to LEAVE canada (at least one good thing about being able to track them now) but then they were in limbo for the next 2 months....
the parcels i shipped from st. albans or from the tiny little post office in swanton, vermont took almost exactly 1 week to get to switzerland - being home well before me - waiting for my return in my office very very very wierdLotti, Kuessnacht - Switzerland

WOW! Katie, I didn't know that!!Originally posted by KatiezquiltzYa learn something everyday. I accidentally tapped Lottie's signature and it took me to a page of instructions on how to make a live signature.
If anyone is having trouble with the "live signature" you will find detailed directions here: http://forum/forum-questions-and-sug...s-on-the-forum
It's best to print out the directions and follow them precisely, step by step. It took some of us several tries to get it right, but it's worth the effort!

They are here really here, just ahead of the Canada Post strike, I was prepared to wait for weeks. Barb Thank You sooooo much for all your har work, and also your helpers this has been the best winter and spring I have had in years. Many friendships looking forward to seeing all the projects that come from these exchanges and excited about all the new quilts I might tackle. I am mentally darting in all different directions like a little one in a candy store I want one of each. Joan

What beautiful fabrics my strips are!
There were no duplicates in the 200 I received. That's amazing. I received two of mine (My name's on them) but they are different. How exciting!!
What countries were part of this wonderful exchange? When I do my quilt, I would like to add the countries to my story card. Hugs to everyone involved....Doreen
