Barb,
I wanted to thank you for all your hard work. I can only imagine being surrounded by all those wonderful fabrics, I would have thought I was in fabric heaven. You did a great job I received my package today. I just can't wait to start sewing. Thanks again I hope we can do it again. I know everyone appreciates your hard work. Tam

Barb,
Today, I also received my package. It got pretty banged up and torn en route, but fortunately the Ziploc bag protected all of the strips. I haven't had a chance yet to sort through them, but at a glance I can see that there is a nice mix of colors, textures, and values. I'm anxious to get in and play with my strips.
Thanks to you and your sorting helpers for organizing this, my first fabric exchange.

While I was out at the Quilting in the Valley (San Fernando Valley, southern California) quilt show this morning, my strips arrived. Oh frabjous day. So I came home and did a little happy dance and opened the package. Be heart my still.... Terrific selection, with a few duplicates. I've never seen so many pretty pink batiks. Thanks to everyone who contributed strips and special thanks to Barb for collecting, sorting and mailing, and to TQS for providing the community.
Okay, I'm gonna go do another happy dance, and think about how to sew these treasures together! Happy stripping ladies and gentlemen!

I also did stop everything else to look at the fabric--while my husband and kids wanted to know when supper would be ready. I need to look at the fabric but we compromised. Everyone help with supper so everyone was happy and I could then admire the fabric. So many different ones. I am thinking of what I am going to make. A big thanks to all the work that went into making it happen.

Thanks Barb for a job well done!
The Strips are truly Sensational!
I'm just finishing the HST's (Ironing & Seperating Papers) and have a quilt plan for them and then
on to stripping ... :wink:Lesley

I got mine today too. They actually came yesterday but I picked up my mail today. They're just beautiful and so glad my raffle quilt is within a week of being done (God willing). I can dig into all my
exchange squares and strips. Can't wait to get at 'em! Thank you Barb for a job well done. I'm very grateful you took this on.
