I opened my package yesterday and was so happy with all of the beautiful strips. Thanks again Barb and all sorters and helpers or doing this! What fun you have afforded all of us. I am in amazement that I could get all of those strips and not a one was something I have bought or even seen before. How in the world did you manage to do that, Barb? Impressive organizational skills I think.

I have to say that I love Edyta Sitar's Frienship Strips and Scraps book. I would love to make every quilt in the book! I was so excited about it that I started the Farmhouse Quilt out of my own stash. An added bonus is that I am using the leftover strip panels for "The Bloomin' Baskets" quilt also... How much fun is that to get two quilts from this. I have improvised on Edyta's design as I am using a "Block by Block Quilt-As-You-Go" technique. This is really a fun process.

Thank you so much Patti! I think this is such a fun, fun, fun quilt to make! I have a wee bit more to do on the applique. but all of the farmhouse blocks are pieced. You are going to have such a great time putting this one together!

My strips arrived Saturday!!! Have not had a chance to look at them all since I had a sick child over the weekend but what I saw looked beautiful. Can't wait to dig into them and sew.

My strips arrived today as we were leaving the house. I had to set them aside until I got back home. Then supper, etc. I finally took them to my sewing room about 9:30 last night. I was up until 1:00 am playing with the strips. They are just beautiful. Barb, thank you so much for all you have done. And thanks to any helpers you had.

Hi, today I've received my 'candies' and like many of you I put them on the table, sorted them, took pictures(I did the same with the triangles)...wow ,such a variety.....now for the bad news is that I've sent 200 strips and I've got back 10 less....If anyone received more them they sent and are willing to part with them please sent me a note to mailto:[email protected] ...I live in California....thank you................marta
