Received my strips the other day. Went through and looked at all the beautiful colors and designs I haven't seen before. Thank you Barb for all your time and effort put into this exhange and thank you to all who sent in strips - they are beautiful. I didn't even think to count them til I saw a post of shortage. I counted mine to make suree i didn't receive more than 200. I am happy to say, Barb was right on - 200 exactly. Great job. Didn't decide which design to make yet, but all good things take time.
Hope everyone has a great day, Lori

Well I did all of my figuring and cut 2 1/2 " and 3 1/2" pieces for days, then I separated them so the colors are fully separated and all of the pieces are counted. Now I just went back to my pattern and realized that I now have enough pieces for several king size quilts. Oh well better too many than too few I say! Sewing starts tomorrow.

Oh, I am so happy!!!! I received my strips about a week ago but I have not had time to post a BIG thank you!!!! They are wonderful!!!. It will be a little while before I will be able to dig into them and start building. I am working on my "Waves of Friendship" quilt from the SoTTT's HST exchange. I am thinking I am going to make Edyta's Farmhouse Quilt and call it "A House Built on Friendship". Thank you so much for the treasure!!!! Each one of you will have a special place in my home. It is going to be so fun to see what we all make with our strips. Wishing you all a safe and wonderful Memorial Day!!!

My package of strips arrived Thursday!! I spent 3 days playing and sorting the beautiful strips. It is amazing that there are very few duplicates! All the different colors and patterns were amazing spread out over the table. My husband said it was great to see me so excited!
I want to thank Lotti for the 200 strips, Karen for Edyta's book, the other members who also sent me strips and to Barb for sending this all. Over the months, I have looked forward to reading all the posts from the "Strippers" and the "HSTs". I have really enjoyed the many supporting emails that I have received from the group.
My chemo is doing well, but I have my good and bad days which are expected. I did finally lose most of my hair so my husband shaved it off last week. "Bald " is not so bad!! Again, thank you all for your kindness and generosity!

don't know about to the UK - but would think it's similar as to switzerland
in my experience, priority post parcels take anywhere from 5 days to 3 weeks - hey still much better than the stuff from canada - i regulary wait 2 months for my parcels - last year getting my christmas presents (which were posted in NOVEMBER) - just in time for EASTER...
hope and smile - drink a cup of tea and imagine what you will be doing with all the lovely strips that are coming SOOOOOOOON
also still waiting 8)Lotti, Kuessnacht - Switzerland
