Hi Barb,
Sent 2 e-mails, besides posting on the forum to join the Sensational Strippers Exchange and so far, I haven't received a reply with your address to mail the strips. Wonder if my e-mails might be going to the spam folder? Please let me know what to do or you can e-mail me from this post. Thanks for your help and for organizing this exchange![/quote]
Barb,
I also have sent a couple of emails regarding getting the address to send strips to but have not gotten a reply, wonder if mine is going to your spam folder. Thanks for your time in doing this.

A Stripper Exchange - how wonderful!!!! I am going to not commit on a certain amount yet. I will see how many participants, It would be nice for everyone to have a strip, so not going to tell how many I will be making. It will be a "striptease". I have ordered Edyta's book Friendship Strips and Scraps. I love the front cover quilt and want to make it. I just don't know when I am going to do it. I am working on 3 quilts at the present. My BOM, a Kaleidoscope sample wall quilt for a quilt shop class I will be teaching in April, and an entry for the Just for Me MQS contest. I don't watch TV, so this is my entertainment in the evenings. I try each night to get about 3 hours sewing in. That is if we don't have any emergency calls that come into the vet clinic. When that happens it really takes a bite into my sewing time. I don't mind it though because it is doing something to help our furry little friends. This one will be an easy exchange to do. No sewing, just cutting strips. The sewing will come once all the strips come back  . I hope to have a few projects completed by then!!!!

I also have sent an email to join and request the address for sending the strips. No response yet. Also wonder if my email was going into the spam folder.

So will be sending 10 strips of one color in one bag and then if we send only five of one color in one bag. Or do we send 200 strips in one bag regardless of what color they are? Just asking so can be clear how you want to sort these. i think if we are sending strips of one specific color, you will want those in one bag with the quanity on the bag so you know how many to trade with of that bag so it has a different kind when sending back. If we put 20 different colors in quaity of 10 strips in one bag, won't that be hard to tell apart unless you have a nice clothes line where you can hang all the different fabrics up so you could just go down the line and remove as you wish. Wouldn't that be cool seeing your clothes line used that way unless you are in that storm right now and that would not be good.

Hi All!
On the bagging of your strips for mailing - if you are sending more than the 25 minimum, please go ahead and bag them by color - that is how I am going to sort them for distribution back to you, so that would be a BIG help. Base your sorting on the background color of the fabrics as the batiks can have so many colors in them - if it reads green to you, sort it with the greens, etc.
