This is so fun!!!!! I finished making my 700 HST yesterday. I can't believe how fast it went. Now today I am going to sign each one with my TQS name on the paper with a pencil. I have 25 sets consisting of 28 triangles. The fabrics range from batiks to civil war reproductions. I can't wait to see what comes back in exchange. The colors and all the different fabrics are going to make a beautiful quilt. The best part of all is it will have a little piece of each of you in it!!!!! I love quilts that have a special story or meaning to them. This quilt will have it all!!!! And of course the name will have to be "Brotherhood and Sisterhood - A Sharing of Friendship". Thank you Edyta for inspiring us. Debbie, Margo and all the others who are in volved in organizing this wonderful exchange. And thank you TQS members who are participating in the exchange. It is going to be a joy to have you all in my home!!!!!The fun just keeps rolling on and on here at TQS!!!!!

Great idea from Margo to write your infomation on each paper & I like adding your TQS screen name too. Doing it before you start putting your triangles together is brilliant! If anyone else can offer suggestions on anything, please don't hesitate!
You GO, Carol! My papers came yesterday, and I'm going to write my TQS name, State and Country on my triangles before I sew them! Hoping that will be easier!

I'm using one of the new Sharpie pens that doesn't bleed through the paper so there is no danger of the ink getting on the fabrics!

Also...please spell out your state name for the International members who may not know our state abbreviations!

Good Morning Ladies and Gents. We are growing to 252!!!
We picked up a lot overnight (at least overnight for me) from Australia and a new country... the Netherlands. A possible from South Korea, hopefully she will decide to jump in. Remember we have until April 1st to get your HST in. This deadline was mainly for our international quilters. So here is the tally of countries.
USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, Finland, Norway, the Netherlands, Australia and hopefully South Korea.
Have a great day.
Clara

I thought I'd signed up, but I don't see my name/post anywhere. In that case, please put my name down (Ida) and count me in. I'm from Stilwell, KS in the USA.Also, I haven't had time to read all the posts (this is a hot-ticket item!), so I'm wondering if we need to cut all squares apart after sewing the triangles and press them. Or, are we sending them as sheets of 28 with the paper still on?

Hi, my name is Anke Magré and i live in Haarlem, the Netherlands. I would like to join the STT. I am not sure how I can put an american postage stamp on my return envelop. Please tell me. Kind regards, Anke

I just got e-mail back from our post. It is possible to pay return postage on international mail. So here in Finland I can buy something called 'international reply coupon' (don't know what it is excatly in English). I understood I should by enough of those coupons and send them with HST's and reply envelope. So you can change those coupons to stamps in USA and send back my mix of HST's. I think this is not cheapest way, I will have to pay 1,65 euros for one coupon to get 0,75 euros worth of stamps. And it is more hassle to you sisters organizing this. So if any one knows better way to pay return postage, please tell.
By the way, I found perfect pattern for this and will be sending 168 triangles.
