Any month is a good month to have a birthday!!!!! It means you are looking "at the right side of the grass" and can sew. But my motto - since I am a "leap year baby" and only have a birthday once every four years - How many members here have only had eighteeen birthdays? Do the math!!! but back to my motto - Today is a "unbirthday" and I can sew if I want. So every day is a sewing day. (Since my grandmother who raised me was a very strict old fashioned English Methodist and in her view, you would spend time in something like purgatory ripping out the stitches you had sewed on Sunday before you could go to Heaven - her saying was seven with your nose for every one!!!!!! Not sure how that is accomplished anyway. I sometimes feel too guilty to sew on Sunday but not very often. LOL) So again today I willl SEW!!!!! Hugs. Ann

Well, here's to an abundance of unbirthdays!
I finished up the binding on one quilt, and started quilting another today. Also I dyed a white blouse that I never wore, turned out a medium purple ( I was going for more blue) and it looks so much better on me than it did when it was a white blouse!
I will post a pic of the finished quilt when my camera battery is charged up.

                Happy Birthday, Michelle!

My birthday tomorrow, and so far being taken out for breakfast by a friend, 8) lunch with two sisters, 8) 8) and supper with my hubby. Not sure how this will work out with my new resolve to lose weight, but maybe I can start the next day. I like cake!! Don't think I'll have time to sew, but very blessed to have so many well-wishers.

Snowplow - I hear ya! Now, I sew everyday of the week - whenever I find the time. You are expressing your God-given creativity - So sew when you want!
And my grandson's BD is on Feb 29th, so he's only had one official birthday so far! (but he's a big as a 4-year-old!)
