Michelle, I think it is great that you finished a whole month of quilting in one day! What a birthday treat to yourself. All that time! Just sewing. That's the way to spend a day! Now, maybe I will download the Sedona Star after all,. I didn't like the original colour way, so just didn't bother, but I've been looking at the gallery of show and tell, and really like some of the others. Maybe the same for next year's 2013 BOM - nice pattern, but not my first choice for colours.

And thanks everyone for the birthday wishes and Happy birthday to anyone not saying so, and all the unbirthdays too! Oh, how I remember Lorchen's last BD - not the date so much, (I'll have to look it up, but the online party and virtual birthday card going around and the celebration, and Lois' new pic.

Thank you all for the b-day wishes. had a good day - did all the baking i wanted the last couple of evenings and treated everyone at the office to carrot-pineapple cake - very well received. fab lunch at my favourite restaurant with my friend daniela and another two colleagues. when we came back finally found the letter from norma in my inbox - yeah - fabulous practical beautiful and so so perfect travel needle folder - absolute perfect for me - THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU norma
worked a bit longer than i had planned but finally got some stuff done that had been slowing me down. and sewed the last 4 hours or so (luckily i´m capable of sewing and talking on the phone) - started a quilt for my older brother - he´ll be 50 on december 12th - so i better get a move on - but it´s coming along very well.
tomorrow night out for dinner and live jazz - soooooooo looking forward to that
