I used a stripe and like what it did.

OK so as I progressed with putting my wedges together I wasn’t thrilled with my fabric choices. Need more dark to mix and stand out. But after putting it all together w/dark border I’m liking it more. I will do another this wk (maybe smaller) with a diff choice of fabric tones. At least I know that each one you do will be a Mystery based on how I cut template…Great Class and Fun once I got the hang of it.

This went together pretty easily. I certainly took my time. I used the Jinny Breyer Perfect Piecer Ruler to mark my dot on each wedge point. I pressed the seams between wedges in one direction so they would spiral. My one big blooper was that I cut half of the wedgies so that the pattern in the fabric wasn’t horizontal and I had to go back and redo those. But I certainly wasn’t about to redo the center. Close enough is good enough!

I'm really enjoying this class, thank you Ricky Tims . My center is ready to be sewed together. I used my stash of fabrics, some are very old and need to used.

It’s all together! The center was tricky and is a little off but the darker blue surrounding it lined up perfectly so I decided to leave it alone. Great class!

That is really pretty, the way the thin dark lines are so definite, and the green fans really pop!

Looks great, I'm having a problem with the center laying flat.

I love this with the dark reds and to me, the blue really shimmer! I love it.

It didn’t turn out how I pictured in my head. Ricky was right about surprise fabrics showing up! Not perfect but I’m pretty happy with it.

I know Ricky told us not to use solids but I’ve committed to use from my stash before I buy anything else. I’m happy with it but I need suggestions for color on the wedgies and butt (My Mother would be mortified at me using that word…lol). This color choice will also be the background for blocks I plan to add using the cast off cuts from the wedges.

Border it w/the Red/Rust you have at one of the points...I think that would make it "POP"

The Blue, Gray, or Pink need to be repeated I think.

The solids look like a tile design one might find in a big building entry way!

I would try the gold or lighter yellow.
