They're all beautiful, Sue, but my personal favorite is the first one--teal and magenta. Let us see what you finally end up deciding.

Judy and Sue all of your variations are lovely, I would be hard pressed to choose one.

Margo, funny thing is I was colouring in my template (the old fashioned way) last night and as I was doing it I was thinking I would probably leave the second lot of sashing out as they don't really work so well for two colours. I was also looking at doing the whole thing with a black background. But that's really not me so I think I will go back to the red and white idea again. It's interesting to see how you have reversed the sashing to make it work better for two colours. I think I will steal that idea thanks.

Oh, I am having such a hard time deciding. That teal one is very pretty. And red and white would be stunning. They all sound great.

I was leaning toward yellow and blue or yellow and red. I've got a couple more quilts to finish first so I'm not starting right away, but I don't think the decision is going to be any easier. I'm sure I'll change my mind several times before I do the final fabric purchase.

Even this part of quilting is fun!

I did not look far down enough and missed Judy's designs as well as Sue's beige rendition--now it would be hard to pick a favorite too! I still can't convince myself to do this BOM... fear of quilt-tops hanging on every window waiting to be quilted, maybe?

Your two versions are very good looking Jo but I prefer the 1st. one.

I'm with Renata about the color-ways you shared Sue. The turquoise and fuchsia is beautiful!

Red and white is very elegant and classic Rita. Sure will be a great quilt.

Margo, your khaki and red version sound wonderful too. I' don like the striped sashing on the original version. I ordered the kit but, the bright green and red are just too much for my taste and most definitely will change those colors for sure. The way you're changing yours sounds very good, might have to "borrow" that idea too!

Limbania, I really like my first version as well -- but I just don't have the fabrics to make it happen.

Sue -- loving your suggestions for different color-ways. On the coffee and cream version, I think adding more of your deep dark value to the border applique -- as the stem, maybe--would be a suggestion.

This is my favorite forum topic -- loving all the ideas and suggestions. Jo

Thanks Judy for the tip with regard to the dark stem on the coffee and cream version, I think that doing this as well as Margos tip for adding Bright white
is just what this version needs , I am really drawn to this colourway but the Teal and Magenta is niggling away in my head as well , I used to be good at
making decisions but not any more . Good job I don't live in the USA with all your fabric choices I would be in the shop for about a week making a decision.

I like that one Sue, but would a bit more value contrast be worth exploring for the sashings?

I love the latest color combinations, Sue, I tend to agree with Rosemary on the sashings. Looking at this rendering, I imagine the vines and leaves scrappy. How were you thinking about them?

Rosemary and Renata you are both spot on saying that this needs something doing with the sashings but my programme will not allow me to change it much more that this.
I have the very last one (I promise) to post, then I really must go and do my ironing , boring ironing that is amazing how I can iron fabric for quilting and enjoy it but ironing

I really like this colorway. What a difference between this last post and the one above it.
These programs that let you play with color are great.

Now it would be really hard to choose between this latest rendering and the teal one I like. In particular, what I like about this interpretation is the very dark background and the mid-tone border. Looks like you are having lots of fun in the color plan phase--next stop: fabrics! Enjoy, Sue!
