Heidi, your block is fabulous. I was just looking through the May 2007 Quilters Newsletter Magazine this morning. The quilt on the cover is a Baltimore Album Quilt with black polka dot vases, I love this fabric in the quilt. Has anyone seen that issue?

Hi everyone..Just posted my first block today...the January block. Hope I can get the rest of them up to June posted soon.
Just learning my way around the site and how to do things. Love all the blocks I've seen ...Lots of good color combinations. I found it rather trying to fill out all the questions just to upload a block. But patience is a virtue so I'm told. LOL....Keep up the good work everyone. Nan

Nan, great block! And thanks for joining us!

If you post your pictures in the personal photos row, you don't have to answer all the questions. That top row is for quilts that are also posted to the quilt gallery. My hats off to you for getting that picture taken and posted!

Thanks Linda, I too started to quilt in 2000 for me it was July, my job was very stressful at that time, and decided to finally give myself "permission" to start quilting, had always wanted to do that but the time was never right until then. Well I haven't looked back, and if I'd invested all the money I've spent on fabrics, sewing toys, and my sewing maching since then I could have retired by now.
Love all of your blocks also, now waiting on your July posting.

Thanks Judy, I guess I need to pull the issue you are talking about, I love polka dots, when things seem to get too serious, polka dot fabric just sort of makes that vanish. I am having way too much fun with this BOM, and truly appreciate everyones encourgaments and all the "oohs and ahhhs". I imagine it will help us all in finishing it up and get it quilted, instead of winding up as another UFO. Heidi

Here's my July block! My colors aren't getting any less bright!

This was alot of little pieces and I used turn under edges with Elmer's school glue and then machine applique. Whew! I'm beginning to see why raw-edge applique is nice!
