          Great job Nancy!

I did a few blocks for a community QOV quilt. How are you participating? Sounds like you are making the whole thing!

                Nancy and Margarita, great blocks!

Nancy, your embroidery option looks great. Love your color choices.

Margarita, what did you use for the teeny-tiny berries? I can't tell if they are crystals, or fabric behind flower. Just curious, 'cause your block looks great!

Just posted my July block - Haven't decided if I am doing the little berries or not. :? If I decide to do so will post a new picture.

Margarita love your block - your choice of vines are great and also your hearts - am anxious to hear what you did - they look great!

I am just thrilled that I am keeping myself motivated to stay on track - of course I have all of you to thank for that - it is great being involved with such a lovely group and talented to boot!

to all you busy people who have posted your July blocks. You all have such great imagination for using different colors. I guess I'll just have to break away from trying to make them similar in color to the originals. Great work everyone. Nan

Bonny and Margaret, great blocks. 5 more to go.

Margaret I really love your berries. They look three dimensional. Is it the fabric or did you do something else to the berries?

I am moving slowly on this block. I have all the stems and small leaves done. I started working on the little hearts this morning.

                            Judy

I make my berries, using the plastic circles, I just cut the fabric a little bit bigger, so it gave me more of a back for the berries, it makes them look stuffed.

I did not do the little circles on the heart flowers, I did French knots using 4 strands of embroidery floss, 3 times over the needle. and did three knots on each heart flower.

Margarita, your idea to use French knots for those little circles is ingenious. Wish I had thought of it instead of fussing with those little circles! Marge

Posted my July block early! Woohoo - it's not the last day of July! You'll notice all the pieces aren't there and that's how it's supposed to be at this point! I'm loving my longarm and going to start using it to do some thread painting for some of the applique.
Oh the kids had a wonderful trip to DIsney. Tina didn't have any problems at all - thanks for the prayers again!
