I've just posted my June BOM. Spent extra time searching for tulip fabric. I finally found some by RJR called Surry Footpaths.

All of your blocks are looking great.

        Now on to July!

Am I the only one anxious for the July block? I checked it out just now hoping it would be up, but of course it isn't.....Oh well, tomorrow will come in 13 hours....can't believe that just a few months ago I didn't really like applique....never say never

I keep checking, too. I'm not exactly sure why, because I probably won't have time to work on it for awhile, but last month (I think it was last month) the picture posted before you could download it. So I keep peeking. Like I said before, the tech guy is very good about deadlines, and he will not post it before it's time! (I'm not sure what time zone he goes by, but until then, we will all have to be patient!) I blamed Sue Garmen for being very disciplined, but she let me know it's not her, it's the tech guy! (suspicion: it could be automated...)

Yes, I am anxious to see and get started, all though, heaven knows, I have WAY too many projects going on now! And the good news is, I thought I had to work tomorrow, and it turns out I have the day off! WOO HOO! So I can get at that new block!

Hi All, I haven't been on in a while, son's graduation and all.

I have kept up with all my blocks except that I've not done any berries. Usually I love doing them, but I've put them off. Maybe I'll do them all together later. I'm also behind on uploading pictures. I think I'll take a picture of the six blocks I have so far.

Teaching lots of kids these days with them out of school. Lots of future quilters! Nancy in western NY

I went ahead & selected my fabrics the other day, have them all pinned on the design wall next to the first 6 blocks. Thought about picking for all the rest, but ran out of time, and tomorrow I'll want to get right on that new block!!

I'm checking in also. I'm not sure what time July will be posted but if I stay up another hour or two, it might be posted.

Thanks for your nice comments on my tulip block. It really is amazing to see the variety of colors and fabric everyone has chosen.

Well, I have the July block printed and will select my fabrics tomorrow. One of my favorite things to do. This one is going to be more detailed - so have already decided to just enjoy.

I have several applique projects in the works but this BOM I have enjoyed staying on track. It is like having our own little applique meeting each month and working and admiring each others blocks.

Hope to have this one posted in a couple of weeks and thanks for all the lovely comments on my blocks.

                            Happy July BOM!

I just printed out the July block. I am going to try some new techniques (some will be made up as I go!) and will report back to you after I have tried them.

Maggie in E. Central Illinois, who will probably be tortured with hubby wanting to go new car shopping today instead of being able to enjoy the day in my quilting room

I am just beginning to make this quilt. I am new to this site and sort of new to quilting. I have worked on a couple of church quilts for auction but this will be the first large quilt made by me alone. I made my grandaughter a small sunbonnet sue quilt and fell in love with applique. I am nervous but enthusiastic. I think I will be fine until I have to put it together at the end and then it might be panic time!!!
