Lynda and Dot, Love your blocks, welcome to the forum.

Hi everyone. I've been lurking since January and enjoying this forum completely. Although I was able to keep up with the monthly blocks, I was technically challenged trying to upload the pics of the blocks. So finally after several days, I've done it!! I've been doing hand applique using the starch method which I learned from Pearl Periera (P3 Designs). The background is a polka-dot and the other fabrics are mostly 1800 reproductions - a lot of Jo Morton fabrics. I'm still working on the July block - what a challenge those tiny pieces are. I finally gave up on the tiny circles and used a paper hole puncher to punch out some wool which I will fasten to the quilt with a french knot. Thanks again everyone, especially Margo for all the support, education, and entertainment you've been providing these past six months.
