Will there be anything to give us inspiration or ideas for custom quilting? I would love to see closeups of the original Autumn pattern quilting. After all of this work on the blocks, I would love to give it quality quilting! Thanks.

        Hello,
Will the helpful videos stay up once this year's BOM is pulled out?

The videos belong to the designer so they will not be on our website after she regains her patterns.

I"m putting together the final sections to finish the Spring quilt. When I worked on Upper Left corner, i noticed there seemed to be two pink and green four patch in a stars. One had a light pink and green and the other had darker pink and same green. I made the four each of light pink and blue from month one from month 1. I see there are numerous dark pink and green four patch in a star but i can't find instructions telling me to make them and there certainly aren't enough light pink ones from month 1 to make them all from light pink. Can you point me to where it says to make the dark pink and green ones? Thanks

Those instructions are in month 11.

Don't think we are talking about the same block. I've attached a photo that uses the dark pink & green in another part of the quilt. This is what I"m looking at. The block in month 11 uses the pink plaid. Not what I am referring to. Thanks for your help. Click image for larger version

No photo is attached, probably too large a photo. Resize it smaller and try again.

Month 11 has two sets of block instructions, the Center Star and the remaining 20 Four Patch in a Star blocks.

Thanks. I thought those were added on when there wasn't enough of background fabric and then replacement fabric sent. Since I had already located extra background I thought I had previously done them. Mystery solved. Thanks for your help!

I’m confused, I downloaded Month 11 and there is also a download for 20 extra blocks. What are these for. I’m a bit behind, still working on month 9 at the moment so not sure if I missed something,

If you are using one of the Kits bought from The Quilt Show, the additional 20 block instructions are for replacement fabrics sent out to those who bought the kits.
If using your own fabrics use the instructions for those 20 blocks included in the original Month 11 pattern.

No, Lynn didn’t have a Month 12 video. On the LIVE broadcast I just did this morning I showed my Spring quilt edge-to edge quilting and referred everyone to Lynn’s Month 1 video to see excellent photos of her custom quilted Autumn version, in the first 4 minutes of that video.

Hi Barbara! I just finished watching your post. OMG ! I must tell you that I have LOVED, LOVED, LOVED doing this journey with you and Lynn !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is my first BOM with the Quilt Show and it was spectacular. Please tell Ricky and Alex they are amazing for coming up with this idea of doing a BOM. I can not say enough positivize things about all of you!!!!!!!!!!!

I do have one question... I know that the patterns will no longer be available after the 31st of December. Will we still be able to watch Lynn's video instructions? Have an amazing day and nice job on Game On and of course your Laurel Ridge quilt. I am still on month 9 right now. Other responsibilities are getting in the way of my sewing, lol.

No, the videos will belong to the designer as do the patterns. I think the plan is to keep patterns/videos available into January 2026 to give you a bit more time.

I've gone to the Laurel Ridge page but can't find a button that actually does the download.

I am so far behind, but sure do plan on completing this quilt. Will the forum stay available somewhere so I can refer back to it? I am afraid I won't find help when I need it months from now when I finally get to it. Thanks from this slow poke!

I am very disappointed that no attempt was made to alert us that the size for the spacer used in the assembly of the quilt was incorrect. Since this was clearly discovered before Barbara's video for Dec it could have been announced there. It was very frustrating to assemble the sections and then find out that they didn't fit because the spacer was too small. I hope next time you will try to alert us in a timely fashion.

The minute it was discovered I updated my blog, we corrected the pattern and it was announced in the newsletter in case folks printed the pattern in the first two days before it was corrected. And it was announced on the Forum, the first place we can get to everyone. I am sorry you missed those notifications.

I too had trouble with size of spacer. I now need to Re-Cut and rip out. These quilts should be checked more carefully!
