I finally got round to finishing my center. It definitely helped to be able to get all the hints and tips from everyone. The videos and blog are really helpful and your advice Barbara to just take time and use lots of pins was perfect. Really am loving seeing everyone's progress. Thank you all!

Just looked at all the wonderful work thus far. The quilts are so beautiful. I am a newbie and although I have hobbled some quilts together, I have never followed a pattern. Loving this quilt.
Thank you Barbara your video's blog and forum answers have enabled me to get this far without too much angst. Its not without flaws but its much better than I anticipated I was capable of.

Treza, What a wonderful job you've done on your quilt. I am so happy that so many newbie's have taken on this project. Bet we
now have a whole lot more quilters in the world thanks to TQS and Wendy Williams. And not to forget Barbara Black. Without
her we might have a whole of newbie drop outs. HelenW

Getting the circles all together was a challenge but persistence and patience paid off. I'm very happy about how it looks so far and I appreciate the inspiration that I have received from everyone who is posting photos and comments. Thank you!

The first 5 months are completed. It has been fun. All colored fabrics are hand dye. The black and cream colored are commercial fabrics.

Beautiful! I am also working with primarily Alison Glass fabrics from stash, and it's great to see how yours has turned out.

I love the clarity of the colors and your background!

One nice thing about living in South Florida is that I've been able to have monthly Show & Tell sessions with my friend Rochelle since Color My World started. We meet at a picnic table along a lake near my home, and it's been fun to get out of the house and compare our progress. She purchased the Art History kit, and I'm doing a "confetti" stash-buster version.

This week we compared our completed circles. After folding them so we could see them side by side, we were surprised that all our measurements matched exactly! We hope it won't be long before we can work together on the rest of this fun quilt.

Excellent! Perfect patterns, accurate sewing, the quilt fits together like a puzzle. Hope you can sew together soon.

I went with seasons and time of the day for my center. I plan to learn some basic embroidery as part of this quilt to add lots of little details for each season. I also added batting to my trees and they already have a bit of dimension do them.
