Here is my centre using Kaffe Collective fabrics for the houses, trees and roads, and sunflower grunge for the background.

Here is my center through month 5. I finished it in late June but just now getting back to month 6 and 7. Mine is a 74% reduction, measuring about 34" across. I'm not happy with how the first road turned out but tried it twice and just didn't want to reattach again.

I have my inner and upper roads on, but my upper road has lots of crinkles. I'm thinking I may need to remove it and try again although I used heaps of pins.

Does your center measure 43.5” including seam allowances? Check in several directions.
To find the post I made about that I searched the forum for Size of center

progress so far. I used felting for tree tops and will do FMQ once quilt top is complete.

I have completed my centre. It is an inch too narrow, so not quite sure where I have gone wrong, except that I know it will be in the seams, possibly in attaching the roads, as I was trying very hard to be accurate all the way round. I have made my inner road different as there are many country roads in New Zealand that are not tar sealed. This reminds me of growing up in a rural town. I have just completed all my tall building up to No 3, so am feeling very happy with my progress.

My center - finished a couple wks ago, as I now work my way through the tall buildings. Only got started in July, so am pleased how it’s come together. Has been a great way to use up some of my “solids” stash.

For various reasons, it took me longer than I had hoped, but my center is finally complete! Pleased with the way it turned out and very happy that I followed the advice of Helen W. and went with an outer garden rather than doing something different. Anxious to finish up my tall buildings, small houses and corner skyscrapers.
