That's wonderful news, Terrie. Keep us posted. Ritzy, I am on prayer watch for your little ones and all little ones about to make their way into the world. Nice to think about new babies after our cold, cold winter. The harsh cold has broken, but we are on severe weather alert here in central PA tomorrow - 3-6 inches of snow. It won't last long this time. I'll be thinking about new babies and new Grammys making quilts.

Hello everyone,
I love your red and white quilts Annis. They are so cheery.
The past week was whirlwind for me! Flying across country to our daughter's wedding and all the festivities. It was wonderful. Despite all the crazy drama beforehand, everything went well and she was beautiful. We had a blast. We had all 4 kids and spouses and 3 grandchildren together for the weekend! I was in heaven! We had fun in Philly eating cheese steaks and seeing the Liberty Bell. All in all it was wonderful.
And.... I'm on baby watch too! Yay! My son and daughter in law announced last weekend they are expecting a baby in October! I'm so excited! They live in So Cal so it will be a little easier to see them than the east coasters. I love being Graneva! And of course I will get to make another baby quilt. Sigh, life is grand!
I was able to finish my commission quilt and get it sent out before we left for the wedding. The lady loved it and I'm so glad! Here are some pics of it and the quilting. It's called :Sunset over Jaco."

Let's hope spring is on it's way!

Love the red and white quilts Annis, and looking forward to seeing the different varieties you come up with. I love anything red and white.
Geneva, congratulations on finishing the quilt. It's beautiful. I love all those rich colours and the circular quilting is perfect. So glad the owner liked it. :cheer: And a hearty congratulations on the wedding and the coming new arrival. It's all go in the Graneva family now. :cheer:

Sounds like a great time, Geneva, and congrats on the upcoming baby! It's so exciting, although when I was younger I would NEVER have imagined that I'd be thrilled to be a Gramma LOL.
Great quilts, Annis, and Geneva.
Lois, I'm with you on the snow. One of my sons lives in Halifax, Nova Scotia and they've been closed down for the last 2 days with not even public transit. They're getting tired and sore from shoveling the snow. Ya sure, welcome spring? More than 75 cm of snow in two days.

Your quilt is beautiful, Geneva! I can see why your customer was thrilled. The colors are gorgeous and your quilting is perfect.
Congratulations on the new addition to your family (SIL) and the soon-to-be new addition. Family is our greatest gift and it's wonderful to watch it grow! Glad the wedding went so well.

Wow! Congratulations to all of you that are on baby watch! Let's see, it's Ritzy, Crocus, Geneva.....anybody else? I added two new granddaughters about a year ago, so now have 4 adorable little girls.
Geneva.....the quilt is very modern, bright and crisp, and so well done. And, you have certainly been busy! Weddings are always so special!
Annis, I pray those in your family that have health needs are on their way to recovery. You do have a full plate right now. I'm glad you are able to have fun with your red and white quilt. The blocks are pretty cool!
