Thanks for the suggestion to use One Note Renata, I will try that next time. Your block looks great and like you I am learning a lot too. Norma I am really enjoying exploring colour in this way too.

Y'all are such good students. I'm still working on Christmas presents to give on New Year's Eve (after all, there Are 12 days of Chrismas, right? ). I hope to catch up after New Year's. I love seeing everyone's blocks. Great work going on!

                Thanks, Rita.

Just because it took some experimenting to get there... :

Have your picture open in whatever program you have it in. In another window, open OneNote. On the tabs above, go to Insert, then click on Screen Clipping. This will automatically bring you back to your picture. Select the picture and automatically it will go to OneNote.

Once you're back in OneNote with your pretty picture, right-click on it and save as a PNG file. Then you can go back to your classroom and insert your photo like you normally do.

I think you have the free downloadable version similar to OneNote for the MAC, if I remember correctly--if that is the case the instructions might be a little different, but you get the idea.

Yes that's what I have got Renata. I will have a look and see later.

I've been sitting here doing some hand applique the last couple days and catching up on some TQS shows and classes. This class looks awesome. I'll have to pull out my stash and give it a try.

Lorna, I hope you do! I'm having so much fun seeing what others make and say.

Christine, I just wanted to say how much I am enjoying your classes, and learning from them. Completing my exercise for lesson 5 was challenging but I really feel I have learned a lot from it. Thank you.

Hi Rita, Thank you so much! It's so rewarding when people like you tell me you're learning from the lessos. And yes, the exercise with lesson 5 was challenging. I haven't yet checked the entries this morning, but I will. We're into the "fun stuff" now.

I can hardly believe that the series is over. Thank you all so much for watching, participating, and commenting. It 's been such an interesting experience for me, and you gave me so many insights into how quilters perceive and work with color. Really amazing. As I said to one of you, it feels as though we should all go out for coffee. I'll be on TQS again at some point, in an interview they did with me when I taught at Sisters last summer. I have no idea when it will be on--it could be while. If you want to keep up with what I'm working on, be sure to check my site now and then (christinebarnes.com), where you can also sign up for my newsletter. Again, thank you. As I said in the final lesson, you've been a GREAT audience!!!

P.S. I you submitted entries, I think I've looked at and commented on them all now. If you didn't submit anything, I think you'd enjoy seeing what others did. And If you started the class late, please still post your exercises; I'll try to keep checking on them and commenting.

I appreciate that you will keep checking on our posts. You know Christmas intervened and life has a way of interfering with what we intend to do. I so much want to learn more about color and want to get back to the series shortly. Thanks!
