i always blame it on my neighbors cat / dog / budgie - whatever works for you - no - of course we never had such a thing happen - i just - sort of misplaced mine - must have been here at one time - after all - i did learn to count to ten or was it twenty? way back when

Of course you are the first person I've ever heard of this happening to. Never happened to me. Ever...ree-a-lly!       (maybe your cat stole them or your dog ate them. )
Maybe it was a glitch in the Matrix? 8)

Or, if it was me, I'd probably think I already made them, but actually didn't, so they will never be found. Anyways, glad you have enough extra fabric to make 6 more blocks!

And if you find the original ones Limbania, you can always use those extras on the back. You see, there is never a reason not to do more.

Of course there is always the "I put them away so I wouldn't loose them--now if I can figure out where that great place is".

Quilters Paradise: where you find all those lost blocks and quilting notions that you bought because they were the greatest thing that would change your life. And when you do find the lost blocks they are ironed and without a frayed edge to them.

What's worse is when you can't find them and they're in plain view, like, on the ironing board... (my nine-sqaure patches of the Laura Nownes sampler... :x but I found them before I had to remake them...)

I have finished quilting my sampler. For better or for worse this is what I have done. I think the big-ass feather in the borders is kind of ugly but not a lot I can do about it now. I did all traditional motifs because this is a traditional sampler but on reflection I wish I had bucked that trend and done something more modern. Oh well, next time.

Now on to the next one.
