I, also, am lost on this new website. It is totally confusing to me. Very discouraging. I did renew my membership. I'm hoping that I will at least be able to watch the shows. The last one I tried to watch took almost an hour to download. Then It dropped the show entirely. I'm hoping things will improve. I'm very computer illiterate. So I could be doing something wrong with watching the shows. But I don't know if there is any help for finding my way around the website.

One quick thing to check would be to make sure that you are not trying to watch the shows in HD. High Definition takes a large amount of bandwidth and doesn't work on slow internets. There is a "HD" symbol in the lower-righthand corner of the video that controls whether you are in HD or not. Click on the symbol to toggle. I don't remember if if it greys out when not in HD or if you get a slash through the symbol, but there is some visible indication of your mode. I have it turned off and it seems to remain turned off when I watch new shows.

Nancy, thank you for that suggestion. I was having problems with HD watching Craftsy videos, too. It works better if I watch using Chrome browser instead of Internet Explorer.

Hi, I was just wondering if someone can tell me where my "favourites" have gone to? I don't seem to have them anymore in my Account section, and they were always useful when I just wanted to revise something again. I like the new format, but like everyone else I'm still getting used to it. I've also noticed that the little heart shape (that you clicked on to add to favourites) has gone from the site, so maybe its no longer available. Thanks for any advice. Regards Dorothy.

I believe, that at least for now, they are not available. I know a lot of work is still being done and maybe that will be one of the things they are working on.

I've just noticed that when looking through the forum, some people's name have little bright green squares on the upper left hand side of their name, while others don't. Is this new? Or has it been there for a long time? Could it mean that that person in 'online' at the moment.

Also, as a suggestion, is it possible to 'chat' with others when you are both online at the same time? It could be fun. :cheer:

Terrie, I am on line now too. I don't have one of the green boxes above my name. I think it may mean we did not read that post yet (it is a new post). Not sure, but just a guess. I will watch for it in the future and see if that seems to be it.

Maybe it turns green when you have posted on the topic. I am online and no green box in this thread yet. I will see once I post.

Hmmm...Cathy and Terrie--I do not have a green box and you both had green boxes before I posted and now it is not there.

OK--as I have been on the forum, I was paying attention to the green boxes. It appears that once I read the thread--the green box went away.

Terrie, way back in the beginning we had a chat room. Sometimes the week's guest was on and would answer questions. I think the chat room went away a long time ago from disuse. Everyone just chatted here.
