Thank You Everyone! It was a nice birthday. Started with my normal walking of the dog, then to the eye dr. Got to pick out new glasses and sunglasses. Then Subway with DH. Sat at a picnic table outside; it was a glorious day!
Home for some sewing time - Yea! Then later, to the barn for my riding lesson. All ladies at the barn and we shared some cake that I brought. Then home for a few gifts and some ice cream cake.
During the day, twice I had to say "I'm 50", so I'm already getting used to it!
Friday was a nice quiet day and we went out to eat. I don't feel bad about turning 50 at all. It seems like a great place to be. I have reflected though, how my son was born right before I turned 30 and it's amazing to me how he's a young man now and here we are 50, which seemed so far off.
I hope the next 20 years as as fulfilling! Thanks for the wishes!

I think the next birthday to mark is Florence's 50th!!!!!! I've forgotten the exact date, but I think it's this week!

Thanks gals!! It was actually Sunday... really wonderful for everyone to get the day off after my birthday
So no trouble drinking champagne much of the day, didn't have to go to work the next day! And yes, 50. I'm having NO trouble with this one, feeling like it's totally liberating!
So Patti, you had one too? All us Geminii's could explain some of the craziness :roll:
