              To those of you who may wonder from reading my blog, I just finished painting the sky for my new quilt. I did one yesterday that I didn't like. Today's is more successful, I think, although I won't know for sure until it is all dried and head set and rinsed and heat set again. I used what I learned here on TQS from Mickey Lawler's show (#1305). We'll see what it looks like when it is dried.

                The sky you painted for 'waiting' is beautiful. I'll look forward to seeing it. Painting skies is on my list of things to learn so thanks for the reminder of Mickey Lawler's show

                  Wendy, It's messy. I wouldn't say it is easy, but it isn't real hard either. I found her method works and it is well explained on that show. Skies are the hardest thing to find commercial fabric for landscapes, I think.

                            Bonnie Hunter has so much good advice of how to get the most out of our fabric and quilting time :cheer: Trying to use some of her ideas myself.
