I did get the comment. Thanks Lois :cheer:
Sorry to be a pest but are those who subscribed getting an email when I post. I really don't know what I'm doing so I just wanted to check. Luann said she didn't get one. You can change how often you get them. I've done a few posts but its just to get started. How often do others write to their blog and is there a best frequency so as not to become tiresome? I'm really only talking to myself
Thank you for the help so far xx

I've gotten the emails and am thoroughly enjoying your blog! You can post at whatever frequency you want. I'll enjoy every post. For my blog, I try to post something at least once a week. If I have more to share, I'll post more often. I try to get something out there once a week so people don't think I've stopped posting and so they stop looking. I know that I tend to forget about blogs that don't post very often, although the email notification takes care of that problem for me.

I tried to fill out the follow by email link, and for some reason I keep getting kicked out. I never get the follow up email to activate the follow,, I will try again when there may be less traffic,, hmmm now just when would that be??
I'll get it one way or another! I'm determined if nothing else,,

Wendy,
I just went to your blog again and this time I decided to use my iCloud email to see if it would work. It did! Yeah. So the next time you post I will make a comment that way you will know that I got the email, went to your blog, etc etc. Give me a day or two after you post, in case I get attacked by the washing machine. LOL but if you don't see a post from me thereabouts, let me know and we'll go from there. I really would hate not reading your posts and seeing your pictures. Post more of your town, please.

Wendy, feel free to post as often as you want! Bonnie Hunter posts an average of twice a day; Sue Garman posts once a month, Mary Corbet posts once a day so there is a real variety out there. My goal is to post once a week or at least four times a month.
By the way, my latest post is
here ! I blogged about how I clean up after a project.
Or the web address is:terryknott.blogspot.com/2015/08/clean-up.html]
I LOVE how much discussion we've had regarding the blogs; but, better yet, I am reading some new to me bloggers! Thank you to those who have shared their blog

Perhaps we should start a thread just with blog addresses and have the discussion part about them here? I've enjoyed reading other blogs as well. You can read them when you want, not like Facebook where you think you'll read a post later then it's lost among stuff.
Yes Nancy I envisaged it as a diary of quilting. Someone posted that the TQS blogs were their record and was upset the record was gone.
Lois you made me chuckle when you said 'in the junk box'. I've never looked in my junk box I wonder what gems are there?
There are some interesting bits of Belper. Thanks Luann I'll take my camera down and share them.
