Excellent blog post. I really enjoyed reading about the 10 cent quilting arts booklet from the 1930's. Also, she opened a challenge to win one of Edyta Sitar's books. I already have this book, so I am not going to enter. Just thought all you international quilters would like to know that she will ship the book anywhere.

I hadn't checked in awhile, but decided to today and I still don't see the Member blogs up (unless I'm missing something). rather disappointing as that's where I've made many contacts on Facebook. The blogs were a big reason I checked frequently on the TQS website, that, and to watch the shows and I must admit I've lost interest to come look (as I've noticed some others commenting also!) with the "new" website changes and no member blogs. I sincerely hope they are still working on getting them back before long.

I miss them too. I also hope they are still working on them. They've been a source of inspiration for me. When I first joined reading blogs of members who often comment here was a way for me to learn about individual member's areas of expertise. I learned what an enormous resource TQS members can be.
