Woo, Hoo, I'm doing the happy dance, too!!! My Enchanting Roses (Sue's ruffled roses pattern) won a 2nd place in the Custom Heirloom Show quilt category! It blows my mind that my quilt was chosen over another pieced and quilted by a multi-winning duo. How did that happen? I wasn't able to attend the show, so I had to wait, not so patiently, ha, ha, until this morning for the winners list to be posted.
My grateful thanks to Sue Garman for an award winning pattern. I have won in all 4 shows (MQS, MN Quilters, Upper Midwest Quilting & MQX) that I entered- 1 blue and 3 red (1 1st and 3 2nds).

Thank you, Mary, for the closeup. What a beautiful quilt! You really let quilting speak to the fabric and design. Selfishly, I'll take as many closeups as you're willing to post--be happy I can't see it in person... I'd be drooling! (well, I am already...)

Here's a closeup of the center, Renata. If there are other areas of the quilt you would like to see, I can photo more areas when it comes back from the show.
