New England Quilt Festival (formerly MQX East)

Anyone have a quilt entered in the show ? I plan on being there either Thursday or Sunday, so if you have a quilt there, I'd be glad to take a photo for you.

Is it open on Sunday? I thought it was Thurs-Sat. I'm contemplating if I want to drive up on Friday. I think it's a 2 1/2hr drive.

Yes, it's only open Thurs, Fri and Sat.

I do have a quilt in the show!! Actually it's my SOTTT quilt!! It's #209 called Stars Around the World. It is entered in the Computer Only Category - all quilting was done with my Intelliquilter on my A1 Longarm. If you happen to see it, I'd love a picture!!

      Have fun at the show!

Well congratulations Michelle! How exciting for you! I will have to go look at that quilt on your profile! My SOTTT triangles are still in a box. Some day! Sigh!

I have two quilts in the show...Perspective in Threads (a line drawing on parchment colored thread) and Quiet Celebration (I call that one "my Geisha quilt") I will not be able to make the show.

Well, duh on me, Cheryl, it's quilt show season and I'm mixing them all up ops: .

Michelle, congratulations on having your quilt in the show ! I will take down your info and get a picture for you !

BJ, Wow, double congratulations ! I'll take some photos for you, too !

I tend to take photos of just about all the quilts because they each say something to me, so I should have a good double check on myself to make sure I get yours.

I am so excited!! I just got an email saying my SOTT quilt, Stars Around the World has won a ribbon!! I won't know which ribbon until after the Awards Ceremony on Wed evening. If anyone going to the show can post which ribbon (and maybe a picture?!) I'd really appreciate it!

BJ, I sure wish I was there to see your quilts - you are so talented with your art quilts! I love that Geisha girl quilt. Hope you got an email too!!

I can take photos as long as I don't get sick. Feeling chilled today and hubby just got done being sick. Crossing fingers and toes I didn't catch what he had. Is there anything special to look for besides Michelle's quilt?

If you know they are a TQS member, for sure grab a photo. It would be great to take some pictures of the winning quilts (don't forget to get their names) and close-ups are always appreciated. Anything that you would like to see on the site or think that others would enjoy. Thanks a bunch and I hope you feel better.
