Ditto to everything Lois said. Having been along for the ride, I think we all have a certain sense of ownership or at least kinship with this fantastic Quilt! So happy for you!Originally posted by loise98Wow! I am so happy for Sherry and feel so priviledged to have been able to follow her journery with this quilt so closely. Thank you Sherry for making this "our trip" too through your hilariously funny blogs. They've entertained us, taught us and helped us all become better quilters. Yep, I agree with whoever said, "I feel like I won too!" That's because we did. Sherry made it for us all and we won!
Congratulations also to Janet and Ricky on their great successes!
Happy, happy, happy Dance! :!: :P   :!:Lotti, Kuessnacht - Switzerland

Wow, I was so fortunate to see both Sherri and her fabulous quilt last evening. Sherri was bubbly and so excited and as we hugged I told her how proud we are of her and her wonderful accomplishment. She is one very special lady and is sooooo very deserving of this major award. Congratulations Sherri!!!!

uhhhhhh.....THANK YOU ALL SOOOOOO MUCH!!!
I really don't even know how to tell you guys the extreme pleasure it brings me to read your comments, and the heartfelt thanks i want to share back with all of you. You all welcomed me so kindly when i ventured into the blogs, and truly, my world expanded to an area i never dreamed of. The friendships i have made here, mean the world to me!!!
It was a win for all of us!! now, it's someone else's turn to take the limelight--i know each and every one of you has the potential to stand exactly where i did in Houston, that is my wish and that is my hope
the past week was filled with so many emotions---from feeling the admiration of fellow quilters to sitting in my room Saturday night crying as i told myself "you did it Sherry, you really, really did it".
Again, thank you all so much!! blog coming soon
