                    Wow, I was so fortunate to see both Sherri and her fabulous quilt last evening. Sherri was bubbly and so excited and as we hugged I told her how proud we are of her and her wonderful accomplishment. She is one very special lady and is sooooo very deserving of this major award. Congratulations Sherri!!!!

                          uhhhhhh.....THANK YOU ALL SOOOOOO MUCH!!!

                          I really don't even know how to tell you guys the extreme pleasure it brings me to read your comments, and the heartfelt thanks i want to share back with all of you. You all welcomed me so kindly when i ventured into the blogs, and truly, my world expanded to an area i never dreamed of. The friendships i have made here, mean the world to me!!!

                          It was a win for all of us!! now, it's someone else's turn to take the limelight--i know each and every one of you has the potential to stand exactly where i did in Houston, that is my wish and that is my hope

                          the past week was filled with so many emotions---from feeling the admiration of fellow quilters to sitting in my room Saturday night crying as i told myself "you did it Sherry, you really, really did it".
