Counting down the days to my first time ever at Houston! (25 days 'till my flight!) I'm sure there will be more than enough to keep me busy even though I'm not taking classes this time (ya' see, I do plan on returning!). Thanks for all the info on how to get ready; it's ALL very helpful.

Wanda and my TQS buddies. Not sure if I will show or not. There are a lot of big family things going on. Wanda, I am signed up to go to the dinner. If you are stuck paying for my space I will reimburse you. Besides if I miss this dinner that also means I'm missing all my classes (8 this year), giving Alex a hug, shopping and those amazing quilts. Going to this show is one of my favorite things I do for me all year. Cross your fingers that everything simmers down around here. Family does come first. Mom's fine, it's not about her.

Cross your fingers and hope to see everyone.

I hope so too. I'll post again soon. Just know in your heart it is worth it, if I'm not there.

Just keep your eyes out for me. I'm probably wearing my tie dyes if I'm there.

DH Mike and I are driving from NY to Houston; we're leaving 2 weeks from today!! I'm in list mode here, I don't want to forget anything. On the way down, we'll be staying outside of Atlanta and on the way home, Sevierville, TN. I have a huge custom job to do before we leave but I'm having more trouble than usual concentrating.
As I've been saying, this is our first, hopefully not only, trip to Festival.
Tick, tock...see everyone very, very soon.

I've given up on the lists, and got the suitcase down and am placing things that I can into it right now! My membership card in it's lanyard, my money, my floorplan (from a previous year) all marked up with my favorite venders, things to do on the airplane, "gifty" things, the SOTTT necklace Shirley made for me, etc. The clothing will come later, as I want to do a fresh wash on everything! This is getting so-o-o exciting! Looking forward to meeting you, Eileen! You are going to have such a good time, and take home so many memories!

I can't believe Houston is two weeks away! I am clapping my hands in eager anticipation. I can't wait to meet all of you. I am making my shopping list: just looked at my supply list for my classes (should I bring my fabric or buy it there?) and putting a pedicure on the to do list before I leave...my toes might want to wiggle outside my shoes when I sit and take a coffee break.

Clara, I was hoping to say thank you in person for all the work you did on the exchange, but you might not be there, so I will say it now in this post instead..."Thank you!"

                            See you all soon!
