I am getting excited! Today I got a call today from a friend who knew we were going to rent a car for our trip to Houston and they said we could use one of their cars for the trip. I am so blessed! Houston, here we come!

Have an enjoyable and safe trip, Arlene. I can't wait to meet you in a couple of weeks.

Hi all,
I just Googled the restaurant and it's about 10 blocks from the convention center. We're not staying at one of the hotels nearby; is there a dress code for our dinner? We'll probably be going straight from the show.
Speaking of that, is there ample parking by Don Patron's?

If you are staying downtown, but just not at one of the closer hotels, I understand that cabs are easy to get and that $5 will take you anywhere in downtown.
If others are staying at the same place, consider sharing the ride!

I am making my shopping list: just looked at my supply list for my classes (should I bring my fabric or buy it there?) and putting a pedicure on the to do list before I leave...my toes might want to wiggle outside my shoes when I sit and take a coffee break.
Clara, I was hoping to say thank you in person for all the work you did on the exchange, but you might not be there, so I will say it now in this post instead..."Thank you!"
See you all soon!
Barbara
I am hopeful I will be going. It is still up in the air, but right now it is looking pretty good. Think positive and hope to hang out over dinner. Thanks for participating! Everyone made that event so special. Thank you.
