                Hi all,
I just Googled the restaurant and it's about 10 blocks from the convention center. We're not staying at one of the hotels nearby; is there a dress code for our dinner? We'll probably be going straight from the show.
Speaking of that, is there ample parking by Don Patron's?

No dress code. Not sure about the parking situation. Last year we went straight from the show and we took a taxi there.

Eileen, this is a very urban restaurant with no parking at the door, but if you Google the downtown area you can see that there are several parking lots/garages an easy walk from Don Petron's.

If you are staying downtown, but just not at one of the closer hotels, I understand that cabs are easy to get and that $5 will take you anywhere in downtown.
If others are staying at the same place, consider sharing the ride!

Clara, I was hoping to say thank you in person for all the work you did on the exchange, but you might not be there, so I will say it now in this post instead..."Thank you!"

I am hopeful I will be going. It is still up in the air, but right now it is looking pretty good. Think positive and hope to hang out over dinner. Thanks for participating! Everyone made that event so special. Thank you.

Eileen, if you will be leaving from the Festival for dinner, it would probably be best to just leave your car there and ride the shuttle bus to the Hyatt drop-off point. It's an easy walk around the corner to Don Petron's from there, and you can catch the shuttle back to the convention center. If it's raining (?), you can walk through the Hyatt's lobby and just have to cross Smith Street to get to the restaurant.

I got Wanda's confirmation email, so I'm all revved up for dinner with TQS folk! I have a 9 to 5 class that day, so I'll just drop stuff off at my car on the way to the restaurant. Thanks Margo, for providing the map.
