Chelly....... Yes, I finished the quilt. Except for the binding. I'm so embarrassed I haven't gotten on with it. I decided to sew the binding down with invisible thread. Oh what a nightmare. So I have been in procrastination mode.
Thanks for giving me a poke. I will finish it this weekend and get it posted.

hey all of you are awesome. I am humbled and honored every time I see a new convergence because I can't believe that such an easy versatile stupendous and whatever other adjective you would like to add came into my life at a time when my energy and inspiration were almost sucked out of me. Ricky's book literally changed my life and not just in quilting but in the whole way I see myself as an "artist". So Mr. Ricky I thank you for your creativity and enthusiasm, Miss Billie and Mr. Richard, I thank you for raising such a wonderful man and endowing him through your nurturance with such a beautiful spirit and Granny Newsome where ever you are Thank you for buying that Kenmore. And I thank my Maker for giving me the wisdom to know this was my destiny in quilting. I may move on and include other things in my style repertoire but Convergences showed me the way and for that they will always be my first love. Ann

Thank you all for the wonderful comments. I am a harmonic convergence junky now. I was telling a friend, a non quilter, that I just finished another quilt and she asked me "What is it for?” I realized that not all people totally understand what motivates a quilter. Do you have to have a reason to make a quilt? I am grateful that we have each other and TQS to express our obsession and be completely understood.

All the convergence quilts are awesome. I just finished a grand convergence. I have a confession though ... I copied Ricky's quilt on Page 77, upper right. Is that permissible? Will I get arrested?? I have so much trouble trying to design something of my own. If I won't get in trouble, I'll take a picture and post it. Thanks! Sue P.S. I love your work, Ricky!

Please go ahead and post your grand convergence -- me the self confessed convergence junky --still hasn't done a grand convergence and I know it is coming Guess I am waiting for the right piece of fabric Houston and Ricky's booth here I come-- Now having confessed my innermost secret--- I have to say I continue to be amazed and humbled with every convergence I see and then I look at ones I have made and I even amaze myself that I can do that. I gave a double harmonic convergence panel wall hanging to a friend last week end which incorporated state flowers from four states they had lived in and had a bluebonnet fabric for the border as they are now Texas residents. It turned out nicely and they loved it unfortunately time slipped by and we didn't get a picture of it and us together. Oh well I know where it will hang and we will get pictures in the spring. Keep up the good work all of you and keep posting and commenting. That is the way we learn --Ann
