I have the same attitude to paying PO for the "service". I really doesn't feel like service. It's the same here in DK. I always try to find things in Europe but it's not always possible.

:evil: And there was me thinking that the allowance had been increased about a year or so ago.

I had been thinking about buying some patterns from US, but was put off by the postage being more than the books, Now I really don't think I will buy them at all.

Hi Rosemary,

I wish they had increased the allowance. Possibly another way for the government to claw back some money? Or is that too political a statement on a quilting website? I am so not political, just a little annoyed.
Anyway back to patterns. There are more and more opportunities to buy e-patterns.
I have bought and downloaded patterns from these two sites.
Both Camille Roskelley and Becky Goldsmith write delightful blogs as well as making many of their patterns downloadable.

Have any of you been to the Chilford show in Cambridgshire it' a nice small show.
Well the Chilford hall has been burnt down, suspected arson.
You can find all about it if you Google chiford news, it's such a shame as it was a lovely old building 18th century barn.
They have a spring quilt show and also Autumn show ,I don't know what will happen now.
