I'm am having a ball here waiting for the mail each day and getting to open the envelopes!

Two more lizards arrived today. from Jane Ross and Brenda Halbarder! :cheer: :cheer:

Now, I have to find the time to make my lizard for Lotti! Time is flying by! hmy:

What do you all think that I wrap them all individually and then put them in a big gift bag. That way, she'll get to open them one by one! Any other presentation ideas?? Please comment.

Wonderful lizards Dawn! Apologies Terrie but I only got mine in the post finally on Saturday - not sure if he will make it on time but I just didn't get a chance before then. I am sure whatever way you present them to her will be just perfect.

Rita, we'll hope for the best. I once received a letter mailed from the UK and from the date on the inside of the letter, and the postmark, it was 24 hours from the UK to my place. Miracles do happen!

I'll keep you all posted, I think Lotti will be around for a bit, so if there are stragglers, I may be able to get them to her this summer.

Terrie, Just so you know my Mug Rug is in the mail for Lotti. We need some luck for it to get there in time. Hope I can upload a picture of it. I used my grandson's artwork to depict all of us missing Lotti. Hope she gets it.

Thanks, Lois. I hope it comes in time. I spoke to Lotti tonight and we are looking forward to Saturday. I will take a pic and bring it to her, if it doesn't come in time. We are getting our driveway re-paved, so I hope the mail-lady will still bring any mail she has. However, Lotti is here until the 24h, so I might get a chance to see her again and drop off any late arrivals. She mentioned visiting someone nearby, so I hope we get together again.

LOVE your mug rug!! She should surely get the message that she is missed. How creative!

BTW I have to get my Lizard done!! Yikes! I'm reserving Friday for that! I have been with my 3 y.o. GD since yesterday. Her mom has a photo shoot for her next book.

Thanks Nancy. I was so happy with the idea that she's a ghost among us. So that part's just great. Only thing is we've got to make sure the quilt police don't see it. I was following Marilyn/Idaho's advice when it came to thinking about perfection, "Get'r done!"
