Luvin' the lizards everybody. I am certain I have a relative of Rosemary's lizard in my collection. Great deck-chair, and just in time for summer. My lizard is about to set sail from Ireland so give it a little time and it will get there. :cheer:

Hey, I actually made sense B) eventually :P Delighted he has arrived safely. Thought that a beach hut would have possibly been over doing it a bit besides I hadn't worked out how to make a flat-pack one.

Rita, mine set out last Friday, so fingers crossed and a following wind, we should see yours next week.

Wow! You ladies are so darn creative! Lotti is going to love them! My lizards must have entertained customs for a few days, because it seems they have not made their arrival at Terrie's house yet! Mailed well over a week ago, and I live right below the Canadian border. Looking forward to seeing the rest as they come in, Terrie! Are you having fun?

Mine to Lotti went in the mail today so it probably won't make it in time but home he can join the others who have to overwinter in Canada. I think they'll hibernate anyway so they won't eat much. And was so focused on getting it in the mail forgot to take a picture

Love seeing all the wonderful creativity and on only one subject too.

Doesn't look like my Desert Salamander made it in time for Lotti...too bad as I don't think he likes the winter cold in Canada.

These guys must have taken the old pony express from the USA. They took a while to get here, but they're so lovely! Note: The mug rug is straight, it's just my picture taking disability that makes it look crooked. I hope a few more arrive this week!

Beautiful!! Are they lizards or chameleons who can't make up their minds as to what color they should be? Or are chameleons a type of lizard? Should have paid more attention in science class !!

Thank you, ladies! Jane, you are funny! Actually, chameleons are in the lizard family. As are Komodo dragons, geckos, iguanas, and horny toads. I only mention horny toads (can remember their biological name) because I brought one home for a pet when I was around 9. They are a spiky, fat lizard. What every country girl needs in her bedroom, to the dismay of my Mom!

The trick with a two sided mug rug, is how to quilt it! So I quilted the lizard side onto the batting first, in only the lizard area. Then marked out the lizard area on the lettered side, and quilting the rest. Hard to explain, but it worked pretty good. I had fun with this, learned a few things with my new machine, and actually made something in a weekend!
