So, to clarify, (for me) - the theme is 'Christmas', the size is 8x11 inches and the reveal is 1st November? It's a good size for a mini Christmas wall hanging I suppose.

Lorna, I got side-tracked this week and made three small zipper pouch/purses for the craic! And I decided that I was going to make one for each of my nieces and nephews and put a little cash inside as their Christmas gift. I learned how to do it from a free Craftsy class. The finished size of the pouch/purse is approximately 10x6, perfect for holding pens, rotary cutters, glue pens, chalk pencils and even a small ruler. In other words perfect for taking to a quilting class or retreat. Each one took about half an hour to make - choosing the fabrics took longer.

              Does that mean that Rita

              a) goes to the top of the class for making her Christmas gifts already

              OR

              b) goes to the bottom of the class for revealing before the 1st November?

              :P

I say a). It's quite ok to be inspired early. The motivation is good.

Just saw your mice, Wendy, so great. Love the little purse, Rita, I think I have that class too, but haven't looked at it yet. Love the Russian doll fabric.

Just to clarify, Wendy, you mention a HERD of mice and then a FLOCK...are these flying mice? If so, I'd call them bats, and that Halloween, so doesn't count for Christmas, IMHO.
