      Beautiful work Nancy! Lucky Geneva!
Everything in it is beautiful, the thread=painting, the trapunto, the quilting.... Where will you put the mug on it????

It's way to pretty to set a mug on it.

My plan with all my mug rugs is to hang them, kind of like a prayer flag swag, in my new sewing room once we move. I can envision one wall with this beautiful swag of mug rugs.... A prayer flag swag made by my friends all over the world!

Now, I must get busy making mug rugs for you all so my mug rug prayer flag will look spectacular!

I kept looking but there must be too many street lights around us and it was misty. Fabulous pictures

Beautiful photos! We had our usual monsoon last night so we would have had too much cloud to see anything. The skies are very clear tonight and we had snow on the hills today and I think there might be more on the way. I would have loved to see even a fraction of those lights last night.

Only heard about them after the event (typical for me). Also on my bucket list of things I would love to see.

Wow! Thanks for sharing Susan. I've seen them while I was living in Alaska. Makes me think of a dancer swirling ribbons with her hands.
