Happy New year to all lounge lizards and mug ruggers. I wish you all happiness, health, peace and much warmer weather that we currently have here. It's -18C, which translates to +1F. With the wind chill, it's like -29C. Tomorrow is supposed to be colder.
I guess the best way to keep warm is to press harder on the sewing machine pedal - whatever happened to the global warming? I think it forgot Canada.

Hi Terrie. We are having such a crazy winter here in Alberta. Tons of snow and erratic temperatures and weather. One day it is +6 and the next -30. In one day we can have sun, snow and blizzard conditions. Never know what to expect. Stay warm out east and put the pedal to the medal. I am sure enjoying my quilting time. But back to work on Monday.Originally posted by crocus999Happy New year to all lounge lizards and mug ruggers. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!....... Ok, ok, so I'm a wee bit late
.......
I don't mind being busy, but the last few weeks have been ridiculous. Things should get easier again now - I hope.
Christmas holidays were spend with family, especially those two gorgeous granddaughters of mine. Sewing machine got a little dusty (Note to self: Make playing with fabric a priority!).
The only other, really, really interesting news: My three closest quilting buddies and I have had this dream for several years, and one of them decided that we would just go on talking for the next 50 years, and that just wasn't good enough, so she organised it for us...... Drum roll, please...... In May 2015 will be hop on a plane and have the best holiday ever: A Retreat with Ricky in La Veta! Debi even managed to book the Warehouse Suite for us! Bring it on!! 8)From the edge of Sherwood Forest, home of Robin Hood
