Lovely mug rug Marilyn - enjoy Vicki.

My mug rugs have all been different sizes - it depended on what I was trying to do. Stay safe Geneva. Hugs.

At our quilt guild last night, we were challenged to each do a mug rug for our show in May. They suggested a 6 x 9 inch. We are not allowed to bring it until the show to make it more interesting. I think I will bring my TQS ones for our next meeting for Show and Tell. It surprised me that many of the ladies did not know what a mug rug was. I am not sure how big my finished ones are. I did not measure them. Big enough for the mug and a snack. I need to get busy and finish the last two and then get them all mailed. I wanted to mail them at the same time. I have no idea why. :? :?

You guys are great! I love my TQS friends.

Thanks for the info on size. Ritzy, I'll swap with you! Would you send me your address via email?

        Thanks!

It's here! Yahoo! I love it, Marilyn! The sweet little Angel Kiss Cherries label, the parse quilting, the tiny ric rac, and the amazing free motion! I love it all, including the wonderful hand made card. Thank you so much. It's gorgeous!

And I received one from Idaho!!!!! Very bright and a lovely garden to enjoy this winter when we don't get to see much that is bright and colorful. I love the tiny, tiny rick-rack. And the handmade card! Thank you Marilyn!

Add me to the list of lucky Marilyn mug rug recipients! I got mine today, too.

The mug rug is very happy and summery and just gorgeous! The quilting is wonderful and the tiny rick-rack makes the pillowcase finish look like a binding. I looked at it a long time before I realized there wasn't a binding! The colors are beautiful and the perfect quilting continues the flowers into the background. Wonderful!

And on the back, a little taste of the winter that is on it's way:

I love everything about it! Thank you so much, Marilyn!!

Ok, I was so excited to get Marilyn's mug rug and to let her know it was here that I stopped opening mail. Alert! Never stop opening your mail! Look what was also there from Jane. A beautiful Bird of Paradise with fantastic colors, shading, and teeny tiny hexies! I am absolutely giddy. I love Tuesdays, I love Tuesdays, I love Tuesdays! Thanks so much, Jane! It is terrific! (My ! key is getting a little sticky)

In case anyone is wondering that makes 159 mug rugs received and recorded for us to see! WooHoo! Does anyone besides me think that this is more fun than we should be having.

Rosemary--your mug rug will not call itself done. You will have to wait a while longer(how is that for a tease?).

Well I am still on a two mug rug high, but I think it's a blast!

                                More gorgeous 'carpets'!!

I must admit that I ignore sizes for these pieces and just make what I fancy and what feels right..... Call me a 'rebel'.

And then there is this problem that the little '%&%&%$^&%$' develop a life of their own during construction and refuse to stay small and dainty. Ah well, maybe I should rename mine 'dinner plate rugs'!
