   Yes indeed-y do !! Way too much fun !! I'm so happy that you like your muggies !
...Or are too kind to say otherwise   ... This time around, I gained a lot ! I cut into
my hand dyed stash ....I used up an Ugly Exchange leftover that I couldn't throw away because it
already had fusible on it !! It's amazing how far those pieces went !! You all are getting something
to remind you of Idaho.. Oh, I know it's cheesy !  I persisted when Big Bernie had
thread tantrums ! And then there's that little ric-rac...My Mom musta had miles of it !! Bless her !
And thanks for the comments on the card ! I can't draw a lick ! This is a print from flower-pounding
pieces done years ago. Can't enjoy them unless you make a print as they fade out in the light !
Jane...I know it'll make it !! Rest will get thru customs and be there soon I hope !!

OMG, it's contagious! I also had another beautiful mug rug lurking in my mail, waiting to surprise me!

Isn't it beautiful??? This work of art is by Jane. I love the soft colors! And the fun quilting design! And the pretty stitching around the binding! Wonderful!!

        Thank you so much, Jane!!

Nancy and Charae--Glad you like the muggies...I've tried to make everyone's a bit different and of course, to try different ideas. Sometimes they work and sometimes they don't. Really wanted to try Rita's coloring technique and thoroughly enjoyed doing it. And with Nancy's I wanted to do something soft and feminine and try some quilting I saw on F&P's Love of Quilting on PBS last week.

Geneva, I'd like to exchange with you too. I'll send my address to you via email and please send me yours.

These are just way too much fun and so very addictive--have a couple rattling around in my head that I want to try...help...I can't stop.

Actually, I do receive mail 6 days a week, but we have a new postman on our route and our delivery time is now closer to 5:00 pm. It used to be late morning. More irritating than that is the fact that he only brought bills on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Monday. This was his first Tuesday delivery and he did much better!

I sooo enjoy these mug rugs. Never a dull moment on this thread.
It's so interesting to see what you all come up with. Different stories, different sizes, different techniques. I love it all and I think we should change the "we're having too much fun" to "we can't have too much fun", because it's all about having fun

What a lot of mug rugs appearing at the same time. Marilyn and Jane they are beautiful. What lovely surprises for everyone that received them.

I also don't think size matters, of mug mugs I mean    I have cut some of mine down so they can go into an ordinary A4 envelope thinking I wouldn't have to put a customs declaration on them, but I did Rita's was slightly larger so I had to put that in a padded envelope that I had and that cost more. Now I know to make them to fit the envelope.

Did y'all miss me? having worked my way up from page 146, I rather get the feeling you didn't... what with Terri's boxer shorts moment and loads & loads of magnificient mug rugs to view.

Had a great holiday, didn't do much at all besides canoeing & reading. Found some fabric for mug rugs  didn't do any sewing  , even though I took some with me. Camera battery died fairly early on, and spare was flat too  so haven't got many photos.

Yes, we did miss U Rosemary. But look what was in my post this morning all the way from Idaho--a beautiful mountain blue bird from Marilyn. The photo doesn't even come close to showing the grogeous colors of the design, fabric, stitching or quilting. Spectacular!! Did U hand stitch the flowers or thread paint? The tiny french knots and rick rack make it that much more special. Thank U very, very much.
