And that you, everyone, for the nice comments on Connie's mug rug. Had a fun time with that one.

As I'm not an artist, had to come up with something so used an embroidery pattern and traced on fusible. It was machine quilted but decided to use the silver metallic thread for the liquid and steam since the clear thread didn't show too well. Great fun, and very glad you like it, Connie.

Limbania, we're praying that this is just a bit of delay in your treatment. We're helping you keep the faith.

Well! I finished another mug rug last night. This time it was not ugly but it ended up being 10X16. Not really a mug rug. It was a dinner placemat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. I guess I have to start again.

no problem vicki - more room for cake!

and some of us have more than one mug at a time...

sometimes my phone is on there as well...

and then again ... some mug-rugs spend most of their time on the mug-rug-wall - to be enjoyed and strocked on a daily basis

unfortunately it's also a bit tooooo large to send to AAQI...
on the other hand, maybe it would be possible to turn it into two mugrugs?

whatever you decide - i'm sure it's fabulous

              happy mug rugging

Lotti, that is such a cool idea--with the mug rug wall, you can have guests, you can pick the mug rug which suits your fancy that day to use... it's just great!

In case those of you to whom I have promised a mug rug are wondering, I have all three partially finished (the tops are done), but I am going to finish my blue print quilt first...probably another few days on that (Rita, Renata, and Sue). I got a beautiful one from Rita the other day...I love it ...will post pictures at some point.

Thank you Lotti for sharing with our TQS family what was going on last Friday.
What a great way to display you mug rugs!

Thank you all for your prayers, get better wishes and wonderful support. Transfusion went smoothly on Saturday (for 5 hors) and by Sunday I was pretty perky. I not even realized how tired I was.

As I write this I'm getting ready to finish chemo number five, after 5 hours at the clinic.

I think I should get a lottery ticket with some 5s in it.

This is in a wall near to where I'm getting chemo and I can't stop reading it.

                        Have a wonderful week.

Oh! I got something gorgeous on the mail. I'll post it later...

Limbania, I can understand why you would want to read that plaque again and again. I am glad #5 is history and the transfusion gave you some new energy. Keep the faith. I need not tell you that. You are an example of keeping the faith. Thanks for sharing your experience with us.
