I just received my first rug mug in the post today, yipee! It's so lovely Connie thank you so much. A friendship braid with my initial (so nobody else in the family can use it.) and it is so perfectly done. There is even a pretty little label on the back. And also a photo of Connie in her sewing room - what a great sewing room! Your's is so much tidier than mine.

Dang, Lotti, hope you feel better soon. At least feeling better with cortisone is fast acting. All the mug rugs are gorgeous. Isn't Connie's precision amazing?

Thanks for the story, Rita. So amusing!! Your kids must have been thrilled with their bedtime stories when growing up! I have to just read books to kids since I'm terrible at making up stories.

Connie, the mug rugs you made are wonderful! Lotti and Rita are very lucky!! I can't wait to see what you get in return since Lotti and Rita always make such beautiful stuff!

Lotti, I hope your knee feels better soon. I'm glad you went in to get it checked out!

Oh Lotti I am so sorry to hear you had a bad bad night. I hope the cortisone has kicked in and you are beginning to feel a little better. I would not like to be doing that journey next week in your condition, I hope you are much better by then.

I have found that once I heat set them, they are very permanent. But you want to try them out first on your fabric, because the colors are somewhat influenced by what the base fabric or thread color is.
Betty Jo, how do you decide which tips/nibs to get for use on fabric?
