I knew you were going to need something else fabric for distraction and pleasure. Limbania, I'd be willing to put you on the top of my list and make everyone else just wait. And you know what? They wouldn't mind one bit! Keep busy doing things you love is the best medicine no matter what's going on in anyone's life. And by the way, I am certain you are still a Lounge Lizard no matter how long you've been away.

I know, I know, most everybody have "closed" for the time been but I'd love to be added to the next round with everybody who's participating. I think I can get a couple done a month. Please let me know.
Hi Limbania I would love to swap with you. Please send me your address. No tush for the return rug. Take your time.

Good to see you here and relaxing Limbania, You are certainly welcome onto my second list (I was trying to be sensible and stop with a short list for the moment, because of other commitments, but somehow have started a second one anyway, for something to look forward to for high summer - or June, which ever comes first  )
Had some fun yesterday, started getting on with putting my wide borders onto Caught Red Handed. Really pleased with how it is looking so far. I have to say that 1/4 square triangles/hourglass blocks are blooming awkward to get square. when they are only 1/2" square and you are trying to get 4 of them to line up for a 1" square block.

Rosemary, you really love to torture yourself with those miniatures don't you? Those hourglass blocks are difficult enough to get square at 4" never mind what you are trying to do. I hope you succeeded in your quest for the perfect miniatures.
I had some fun yesterday too because I put my spools quilt back up on my wall and put the borders around it so that I could see how to do the corners, only to discover that I was 6" short on the top and bottom! I had forgotten that they weren't the same size as the sides and cut them all at the same time. I had planned to put in cornerstones rather than make the top and bottom the way Edyta suggests in her book which is a straight piece top and bottom. So that's what I will be doing now. By adding extended cornerstones. Hopefully the continuous vine and applique pieces will cover up enough of the seam so that it's not noticeable. And then of course my exquisite FMQ will do the rest.

If I did as much work with quilting as Rosemary and Rita, I suppose I would run into a few hiccups... I better get crackin'!!! In the meantime, I managed to do most of a little mug rug mug and will finish up today along with starting my next one.Look forward to seeing pictures of both your quilts when you're ready! :P

Thank you Renata, Lois, Nancy, Marilyn, Maureen, Lotti, Lori, Norma and Vicki. It might take a little bit but I'll be sending you a mug rug. Please e-mail me if you have any particular request on color or size and where to send it to.
Wendy, Rita and Rosemary, I don't mind waiting (as you can see it'll be a while before I get done with the list above 8) ), if you do another swap later, just put me in your list please.
