I just noted on the Daily Blog Lorna's beautiful quilt on display of the day [i]Flowers and Vases[/I, based on Roseville, Pennsylvania pottery. Beautiful quilt, Lorna, lots of work, I'm sure but such an eye-catcher, especially with the fantastic colors in the flowers! Congratulations on a fantastic quilt completed!

Thanks! It really was lots of fun to make. Interesting choice to learn needle turn applique on. I barely finished it the night before I mailed it to the show so I haven't had much time to enjoy it. can't wait to pick it up tomorrow.

I have been away for 5 days and got back yesterday to find in my post box a parcel from Lorna. On opening it inside was present from Lois, a packet of Kaffe Fassett Collective 2014 Spring Fat Quarter Collection. The seven fat quarters are absolutely beautiful.

There was a card from Lois thanking me for all I had done with the CW quilts and the show. Lois, I am very moved that you would do such a lovely and kind thing and I really appreciate the fabric and the sentiments in the card. Thank you so very much, you really made my day. I am so thrilled that I just had to share.

Thank you to Lorna for passing it on.

I have just read through about 5 pages of CW but for some reason I didn't get notifications of any of it in my mail :x Wendy, belated happy birthday. Marilyn congratulations on the ribbons and of course I have no problem with you doing a follow up piece to WW and you are welcome to use any image of mine. Lois that was a very nice gift for Maureen (dang I wish I had thought of it!). Lorna's quilt is stunning and I posted a couple of photos on the FoQ thread. Oh I have to go to bed, I am soooo tired. Good night!

You're a very thoughtful and sweet lady, Lois. Awesome thank you gift to Maureen.

My quilt's gone following an exhibition along with my Egyptian Rhapsody and 4 others from 2 other quilters. Please keep your fingers crossed for me that the person who packed up will suddenly remember where she put them
