Congratulations, Rita! Wow, 25 days... I guess that's well within the 30 days I had predicted... I remember when you did Chocolate Decadence for IFQOI... I was amazed back then at how quickly you pulled that one together so I was confident that this time, with CW, you'd be done in record time. You didn't believe me, did you, Wendy? I am truly impressed, Rita. Good on you!
With photo in hand, your wheels must be turning, maybe spinning, eh, Wendy? I hope you are as excited as the rest of us were to start our part of this journey together. You are so wonderfully creative, have a great sense of color and composition, I so look forward to seeing your masterpiece too. Fair winds and following seas to you too, dear Wendy!

Thanks everybody - but you haven't seen the quilt yet, maybe when you see it you won't be surprised at how quickly I finished it.
Wendy I wish you all the best too, I love what you do so I am certain you will come up with something truly original.
Rosemary, want to race your quilt to Maureens? I will post yours tomorrow and you post Lois's on Monday and lets see how long it takes will we? Anybody else still got a quilt or a label or their 100 words to send to Maureen? Want to get in on the race?
Okay, I am getting giddy now, must be time for a drink, hic!

I was just going to say to Rosemary that I hadn't thought about getting hers before Lois's but I love your idea of a race. Lots of labels and 100 words still to come. On your marks, get set - go go go.  :lol:Originally posted by ReetzbobeetzThanks everybody - but you haven't seen the quilt yet, maybe when you see it you won't be surprised at how quickly I finished it.

Oh, NO, Lorna. Since I read your post I can't get the Chad Mitchell Trio out of my mind. I realize the only direct link is the word "super", but I had Rita "comin' down that slope doin' 90 miles an hour" as soon as I read it! Sorry... I may need a little more sleep, myself!Originally posted by Lorna1021Rita, we'll call you SuperSewist. Or something like that. Congrats on finishing.
Don't feel rushed, Wendy. No need to beat her record. Take your time.

Too funny, Charae... when I saw your "comin' down that slope doin' 90 miles an hour," I immediately thought of Harry Chapin, "30,000 pounds of bananas"... and for anyone who does not know that song, here are the lyrics http://www.sing365.com/music/lyric.n...256CAA002DE7FE and here is the background to the story: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/30,000_Pounds_of_Bananas

Okay, everyone. I am inspired. I need to write my 100 words before I completely forget everything about designing and constructing my quilt. I was confused about the label. I think I got lost somewhere in our discussion about labels and I was thinking there we were all going to have the same label designed by Rosemary. But I will get on with the label as well.
