Time for an update? Okay, I have got the quilt top finished and I have just batted it and I am ready to quilt. But fear is making me think of lots of other things I need to do right now (like give you all an update on how it's going :roll: 8) ). Wendy, it's time to start quaking in your wellies right about now - although it is going to take me a while to get it all quilted. :wink: It is incredibly wet and windy here in Ireland - apparently we are expecting a big storm tomorrow but the wind would already knock you off your feet. Hope you are all warm and cosy and quilting something interesting?

Wow, Rita! You are incredible!! The weather should give you a good reason to start the quilting.

I'm packing for Houston now, ready to fly out tomorrow. Don't know if I'll have wireless (I'm too cheap to pay for it), so might be out of touch until I get back. Maybe you'll be done quilting by then!!!

That's for sure. I swear the woman doesn't sleep. Either that or she has a crew of lepracons that live in a closet in the sewing room who go to work while she sleeps. If your lucky, Wendy, maybe she'll put her helpers in the box with her quilt and send them on to you! Have fun every one!

Don't get too excited yet Wendy, I have spent the evening trying to get my machine to play nicely but it just keeps skipping stitches when I am in free motion - it's fine when I put back on the walking foot. :evil: I might have to take it to the day spa to get it in the mood. :lol: And I will be away for a week from Monday so it's still going to take a while before it is winging it's way across the Irish Sea. :wink: (The leprechauns are coming with me Lois :mrgreen: )

My machine, same as yours, was doing the same thing the beginning of the summer. Took it in for service and the timing was adjusted and everything has been fine since. Good luck! It will be fine!

I think you might be right about the timing Lois. Unfortunately it is a bank holiday weekend here and I am gone from Monday so I won't be able to get Patricia in for a service until monday week. I hope you don't have too much money riding on me getting it done in 30 days Renata? :lol:
