I am trying to remember where we are in the line up without looking up the info. I think I was number 6 and now 7 is as good as done. Congratulations, Rosemary! And now also number 8 is inspiration seeking form. Wow! Is that right? After Rita it's only Wendy and Lorna. When we started it seemed so far in the future, May 2014. I am not sure I am liking how fast time is flying. I am not sure I am making the best use of that precious comodity, time. I wow to do better.

You got all of that right, Lois--Maureen was 1, Marilyn 2, Limbania 3, Nancy was 4, I was 5, you were 6, Rosemary 7 and now Rita's got number 8 (which if she were Chinese, 8 stands for double-luck!). When Wendy and Lorna are done, Maureen still has a boatload of work ahead of her...
Time really is flying... and I don't want to even think about how much time I've piddled away...

Limbania and I are hanging on to our inspiration quilts until the government shutdown is over and the backlog at the post office where Lorna is stationed is cleared, otherwise we have a greater chance of having lost quilts. We've been in touch with both Maureen and Lorna. I don't think there are any other inspiration quilts outstanding. There's supposed to be a vote in the House this evening by 8:00 EST that we hope will terminate the government shutdown and lift the debt ceiling (until January and February, respectively). Apparently, leaders Reid and McConnell in the Senate have come to an agreement. Lorna informed us that she could not receive any mail during the government shutdown.
Yes, there's the 100-word summary of the inspiration--when I received the photo from Nancy of her quilt, so many ideas started floating around in my mind and I often realized in the first couple of days that I would forget some of those inspiring thoughts and why I'd had them... so quickly, I turned to keeping a diary of my thoughts as I came upon them, especially regarding what of Nancy's quilt inspired me and how that led me to the quilt I made. Even though they were a bunch of jumbled notes, once I culled through them, the 100-word summary was so easy!
The hardest part after that was coming up with the name for the quilt!
Yes, indeed, Maureen, thank you for being our fearless leader!
